next page: Trade Exhibition

The WasteMINZ Annual Conference is an ideal opportunity to keep up-to-date with new technology, management skills and current issues.  You will join some 400 to 500 representatives from the waste space, including; waste management and resource recovery specialists, central and local government, waste management specialists, and other entities that operate within the waste management and minimisation space including: manufacturers, engineers, planners, consultants, educators and researchers, as well as environmentalists and community groups.

The conference format includes three action-packed days of workshops, key note presentations, technical papers, site tours, updates on various legislation, as well as access to some 60 Trade Exhibits operating or servicing the waste industry, both from New Zealand and overseas.

This year’s theme, ‘The Value of Good Science’, recognises the important role science plays in moving New Zealand forward to achieve its goal of ‘towards zero waste’.

In addition the conference provides delegates with strong networking opportunities and a number of social events, including a well-enjoyed formal dinner on the Thursday night, which is being held at the fabulous Auckland Museum.  At the formal dinner the awards for best Written Paper, runner-up Written Paper sponsored by SULO Talbot Limited and best Trade Exhibit and Most Sustainable Trade Exhibit are presented.
