Purpose of the Grant

WasteMINZ offers Study & Travel Grants as part of its strategy to invest in and encourage on-going learning in the practice of successful waste management and minimization strategies for the benefit of WasteMINZ members. 

These grants provide members with a financial contribution to undertake further research or study, attend a conference wither within in New Zealand or overseas, on new waste management and minimization techniques or systems which would be relevant to New Zealand.

Specifically the purpose of the Grant is to;

• Promote and develop the science, art and practice of sound waste management and minimization strategies
• Promote and encourage research by members into waste management and minimization strategies
• Uphold and improve the quality of information available to members
• Exchange waste management and minimization knowledge both locally and internationally
• To promote continuing education for WasteMINZ members

Submitting your application

1. Applications should be submitted on the official application form (above).
2. Applications can be submitted by post, fax or email to the WasteMINZ office
3. Referees will be contacted if the applicant is shortlisted
