This senior management role is responsible for advising the General Manager, Chief Executive and the Council on matters of Water and Waste, and to ensure that the City’s future needs are well informed and planned, with sound commercial practice and up-to-date knowledge of developments in the industry.
Leading, motivating and building the capability of the Water and Waste Group to meet and exceed business plan targets, while complying with the Councils health, safety and environmental standards, is a key part of the role.
You will develop and drive business strategy, and lead the development and implementation of significant projects for the residents of the City. You will work closely with residents and community groups, encourage cross-organisational working and decision-making, manage operational issues and deliver business improvements.
