WasteMINZ Chair Darren Patterson is pleased to announce Janine Brindson as WasteMINZ’s new Chief Executive. Janine will join WasteMINZ on 27 March.
Over the past eight years, Janine has led Business North Harbour, one of the largest commercial and industrial business associations in Auckland.
“We are thrilled to have Janine on board and look forward to her building on the significant traction our sector has gained over recent times. WasteMINZ has steadily built its profile and influence, and we are confident that Janine is the right person to take the organisation into an exciting future ” says Darren Patterson.
About Janine: Through the growth of Business North Harbour, Janine and her team have transformed the services offered to the 4,500 members, and increased participation and capability within the local business community.
Prior to Business North Harbour, Janine worked in London for seven years, and repositioned an expat publishing title, from print to a digital platform.
Building effective collaboration within communities and increasing commercial partnerships is a passion of Janine’s. ” I am really looking forward to working with the WasteMINZ board, team and our diverse membership to grow awareness, capacity and profile of the New Zealand waste, resource recovery and contaminated land sectors,” says Janine.
