Judah Lebow, Technical Director, Environmental Services – Asia Pacific, SLR Consulting New Zealand
Judah has over 18 years of experience providing subject matter specialist advice, hazardous materials management services, subsurface investigations, industrial hygiene assays, and property assessments. His work has taken place in a wide variety of settings including residential, commercial, marine, industrial, transport infrastructure, and military. Judah frequently collaborates on multi-disciplinary projects across the country for a broad range of clients. Judah prioritises providing practical, common-sense solutions utilising his experience as an environmental consultant, project manager and team leader with international experience managing environmental materials risks.
Life, sunshine, and rubbish pits – what can be done to improve farm waste management?
Jack Grinstead, Senior Science Advisor – Hazardous Substances and Waste, Environment Canterbury
Jack is an environmental scientist and his current areas of focus are farm-based resource recovery and disaster waste management planning. Jack brings a unique range of experience to this mahi, including consultancy experience specialising in contaminated sites and landfill investigation, previous roles within local government and a more recent role helping to run a 1000 acre sheep and beef farm. Jack is particularly passionate about supporting farmers to do what they can to improve waste management. He is currently chair of the WasteMINZ Farm Waste Working Group. Outside of work, Jack is the proud dad of two young kids, and he balances his time between doing laundry and taking the family on adventures in the mountains.
