Does providing a free, easy to adopt tool to reduce household food waste work?

____________________________________________________________________________

New Zealand households waste a staggering $3.2 billion worth of food each year. In May, Love Food Hate Waste NZ launched a major behavior change campaign ‘Eat Me First’, distributing over 300,000 reusable stickers designed to make it easy and engaging for people to identify and use up food in their fridges and pantries.

Join LFHW NZ Project Manager Sophie Wolland as she presents the findings of their evaluation. The session will explore how effectively the campaign resonated with the public, how the stickers were received and used, and the impact they have had on reducing food waste in Kiwi households.
