MfE consultation closes 18 March 2022. The Environmental Reporting Act 2015 (ERA) provides the framework for independent, structure and regular reports on the state of New Zealand's environment.
While the ERA has made positive changes to the way we report on the environment, MfE needs to extend its functionality and breadth so environmental reports have more impact.
They are currently consulting on the Government's proposed amendments to the ERA and your input is invited. Details and consultation documentation is available here to review.
