The Study Tour is one of the highlights of the WasteMINZ calendar. It’s an opportunity for members to gather together in curiosity and camaraderie, visiting other members’ facilities and seeing first hand the type of work that happens right across the waste minimisation and management spectrum.
The theme of this year’s tour is ‘Innovations and improvements – looking at rubbish as a resource’. The tour will track across the lower half of New Zealand’s North Island, taking in many organisations delivering both new and traditional solutions to the country’s waste and recycling challenges, from forestry and fibre to packaging and re-purposing of e-waste.
We’ll meet at Napier airport at 10am on Monday 14 June and leave from Wellington airport at 2.30pm on Wednesday 16 June.
The member-only price of $995 +GST includes all transport, accommodation and daytime meals from arriving in Napier to departing from Wellington. Places are limited, so click below to register and save your spot!
A whistle-stop tour of New Zealand companies working on ‘Innovations and Improvements; looking at rubbish as a resource’. Three days, two nights, endless opportunities to network and learn.
