About the presenter:

Stuart is a Senior Environmental Risk and Safety Consultant with over 17 years’ experience in the sector. He has proven to be an effective project manager with experience in occupational exposure assessments (including asbestos, dust, noise and metals), asbestos surveys and management plans, asbestos air monitoring and clearances, contaminated land assessments, consultancy and advisory services, and project management of asbestos removal/remediation works. He is also a licensed asbestos assessor with WorkSafe NZ.

Having previously worked in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Australia, he relocated to Christchurch in July 2015 to work for an asbestos consultancy and laboratory as part of the continuing post-earthquake rebuild. One of his biggest achievements while he was there was expanding the company into Dunedin and establishing the first IANZ accredited asbestos laboratory in the region to service the district health board contract.

Stuart then moved on to another Christchurch based consultancy to assist with and grow their environmental services, as well as add to their asbestos capabilities. During his time there he again expanded the company into Dunedin to service the growing client base. After the birth of his third child he enjoyed an extended period of time off work before joining the 4Sight team in July 2018.
