Moving up the waste hierarchy through collective action

What will it take to move beyond recycling and prevent waste at its source? Drawing on examples from New Zealand and overseas, this presentation explores how communities, businesses and governments are working together to challenge our throwaway economy and make reducing, reusing and repairing the norm. We highlight four practical ways to drive change, build momentum and create the conditions for a future where preventing waste is easier, more accessible and part of everyday life.
