Tell us about your organisation

ALS Environmental NZ provides accredited laboratory testing services across New Zealand. We offer analytical testing for water & soil to support environmental monitoring, contaminated land remediation projects. Our team is dedicated to deliver accurate and reliable data to the clients with a strong focus on quality and innovation.

Why did you want to join WasteMINZ?

I wanted to join WasterMINZ to connect with other professionals in same industry. It is great platform to keep updated on industry trends.

What topic/issue are you most passionate about when it comes to waste, resource recovery or contaminated land?

I am interested in improving the management of contaminated land through reliable analytical testing, especially in new emerging contaminants and PFAS which is the hottest topic in New Zealand.

What are you reading or listening to right now?

I am currently reading recent industry papers on destruction technologies of PFAS. This is really important for understanding latest development in this space to ensure we cover the right testing once destructed.

Describe your perfect day outside of work

My perfect day outside of work includes go for hikes especially best time in summers. My hobbies includes playing badminton and going for run every evening.
