What are the past projects that the sector group has developed or assisted in?

Certified Environmental Practitioner Contaminated Land Specialist Category

WasteMINZ’s NES Working Group worked with the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) to develop a trans-Tasman certification scheme for contaminated land practitioners.  The Certified Environmental Practitioner Contaminated Land Specialist category was launched by EIANZ in December 2015.  The scheme is one means of satisfying the SQEP requirement in the NES regulations.

Factsheets

The sector group helped develop the Contaminated Land factsheets. These factsheets have been developed to support property owners to understand their responsibilities under the National Environmental Standard for Assessing and Managing Contaminants in Soil to Protect Human Health (NES Soil) regulations for potentially contaminated land.

The factsheets can be downloaded here.
