Consultation on KCTL training material
The Kerbside Collection Traffic Leader (KCTL) working group, made up of industry representatives and led by Craig Luxmoore from EnviroWaste, has updated the NZTA KCTL’s training presentation (with the permission of the NZTA). This level 1 NZTA qualification introduces kerbside collectors to the road environment and the traffic management needs and considerations surrounding their operation. Any driver or team leader undertaking kerbside collection must hold the Kerbside Collection Traffic Leader (KCTL). If you wish to view the draft presentation and did not receive an email about it please contact [email protected]. The feedback form is available from here.

It can be viewed here.
A basic guide to work time and rest time requirements and logbook standards for transport operators and drivers can be viewed here.
