Waste Sector Fire Survey
The WasteMINZ Battery Collection Working Group are progressing a Battery Environmental Scan to capture a complete end to end picture of small batteries in New Zealand from manufacturing to end of life.
To support our work on the issues and challenges involved in managing small batteries (less than 5kg) at end-of-life, we are keen to collect more information on fires in waste collections, transfer and disposal.
Please complete this survey by 12pm on Monday 10 November if you/your organisation have experienced fires while undertaking waste-related activities sometime in the last three years.
