How can we redesign our current take-make-waste linear economy that is consuming the earth’s finite resources while breaching planetary boundaries? This webinar explores systemic solutions from Circular and Doughnut Economics to te ao Māori approaches that seek to reshape our economy to serve people and planet and not the other way around. 

 

Gareth Hughes is the Country Lead for the Wellbeing Economy Alliance Aotearoa, one of 19 national hubs of the global collaboration to redesign our economic systems to deliver wellbeing for people and planet. He is an author, political commentator, former Member of Parliament and previously worked for the Aotearoa Food Rescue Alliance and served on the WasteMINZ Organics advisory board.
