The Graduate Project Initiative from the Central North Island Waste Liaison Group

Engaging with graduates and interns to progress work in organisations is not a new concept but can definitely have mixed results. Come along and hear how the Central North Island Waste Liaison Group (a group of central North Island Territorial Authorities) are collaborating to successfully engage with a range of graduates across a mix of waste and recycling project initiatives.

During this webinar you'll get an overview of their graduate programme, how it works, and lessons they've learnt along the way. There will also be a showcase from past and present graduates on the projects they have completed or are working on including recycling, composting and illegal dumping.

SPEAKERS:

  • Valerie Bianchi, Waikato Regional Council
  • Various past and present graduates from the regional programme
