The resource recovery team are the people behind a range of services and facilities supplied to our community through contractors.
As the Contract Supervisor - Kerbside Collections you will be working directly with our Contractor to ensure this service delivery meets the contract requirements.
On a day-to-day basis this will involve:
- building and maintaining strong relationships with the contractor's staff and problem-solving issues with the contractor as they arise
- providing technical advice to internal and external customers including the maintenance contractors
- ensuring finances are well managed and that we are getting value for money
- undertaking regular audits that address value for money, and quality and compliance issues
- reducing and/or stopping the impact of waste into the environment in line with council's objectives.

WasteMINZ is looking for a Membership and Events Manager to drive membership recruitment, run events, and provide superior customer service for our members.
In this role, you will develop and lead membership drives; manage our membership base; monitor, evaluate and update member services and benefits; and provide excellent customer service to our members.
You’ll also provide end-to-end event management of WasteMINZ’s annual conference (up to 600 delegates) and other key WasteMINZ events.
This role would be suited to someone who has experience in membership, sales or account management, as well as proven experience running large scale events/conferences.
