Notice of increasing scam emails

WasteMINZ would like to alert you to an increase in scam and phishing emails targeting our members. These messages may appear to come from WasteMINZ, our team or our board, and may request personal information, payments, or other sensitive details.

Please be vigilant and take the following precautions:

  • Do not respond to suspicious emails or click on any links or attachments.
  • Double-check sender addresses – if something seems unusual or unexpected, trust your instincts and verify it independently.
  • Never share passwords, financial details, or other sensitive information via email.
  • Report any suspicious emails to your IT provider

We are actively monitoring these incidents and taking steps to reduce the risk to our members.
