What topic/issue are you most passionate about when it comes to waste, resource recovery or contaminated land?
I’m passionate about improving compost quality and developing reliable processes that turn waste into safe, beneficial products. This includes managing feedstock variability, maintaining optimal composting conditions, and ensuring consistent outcomes through testing and monitoring. I’m also focused on potting mix manufacturing, where quality control is critical to ensure consistency, nutrient balance, and performance. More broadly, I’m interested in integrating resource recovery into everyday operations to reduce landfill reliance while supporting soil health and long-term sustainability.

I regularly follow industry publications, technical guidelines, and research related to composting, soil health, and waste management. I’m particularly interested in practical approaches to quality control, contamination management, and improving processing efficiency. I also enjoy listening to podcasts focused on business growth, operations, and sustainability, especially those that explore real-world solutions and innovation in the environmental sector.
